Dear Parents, Students and Educators:

Welcome to the Young Adult Borough Center at Christopher Columbus High School. It is hoped that the information provided here will help you to determine if this excellent program will meet the needs of the student(s) that you know.

The Y.A.B.C. is a unique program tailored to fit the needs of students who are unable to attend a day school program because of family responsibilities, employment schedules or other obligations.

The Y.A.B.C. staff and students are very proud of the more than 500 students who have completed their studies atY.A.B.C. and were able to graduate from their home high schools. These former Y.A.B.C. students serve as an inspiration to the current group of students at Y.A.B.C.

As Y.A.B.C. begins its eighth year, we invite you and interested students to contact us and learn more about this supportive and innovative educational program.

Please feel free to contact me at (718) 944-3400 during the following hours for an appointment: Monday through Thursday from 1-9 PM.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely yours,

Ruth Colton
Asst. Principal
